Hi everyone, I've been looking to start a new hobby and thought pottery might be a fun and relaxing activity to try. I'm a complete beginner and don't have any prior experience. Does anyone know of any good pottery classes in Chicago that cater to beginners? I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Hello! If you're looking for flexible pottery classes, I highly recommend checking out the Pottery Studio in Streeterville, Chicago https://pottery-chicago.com/pottery-classes-streeterville . They offer a variety of one-time classes that are perfect for beginners. You can learn basics like wheel throwing, hand-building, and glazing. The great thing is there’s no need for an enrollment fee or membership, so you can just sign up for classes whenever it fits your schedule. The classes last around two hours, and you get to create and take home your own piece. The instructors are really experienced and provide all the materials needed, making it super convenient. They cater to all age groups, so whether you’re an adult looking to explore a new hobby or want to introduce your kids to pottery, they have something suitable. The environment is very welcoming and supportive, making it easy for beginners to feel comfortable and learn at their own pace. For more details about their classes and schedules, you can visit their website, Pottery Studio in Streeterville. It's a wonderful way to relax, get creative, and have some fun.
