Phantasy Star Online 2 has grown exponentially since being translated to English and becoming available in american markets earlier this year. The MMORPG sport has spanned one million complete players, and it's using a litle celebration to mark the event. "Quite a lot, actually, given that over 1,000,000 ARKS helped attain the Episode 3 target of Fleet Oracle." If you don't know everything, do not worry, it only means that a thousand people have signed up and played with the free MMO game for sufficient time to be counted as actual, legitimate players.
The MMO's gone from strength-to-strength as it's rolled out across the world from Japan within the last six months or so. A substantial part of the community were awaiting the Steam launch, given that it quickly drew nearly 20,000 players. Some bonuses have been running since August 19, to end on August 26, providing double XP, dual rare item drops, double rare enemy spawns, and vouchers to get 100,000 XP at login every day.
Obviously being free helps, but Phantasy Star Online 2's cross-platform availability's no doubt drawn in a substantial amount. A standalone expansion for Phantasy Star Online 2, New Genesis: Phantasy Star Online 2, is in the pipeline for 2021. Eight years is a long time to wait around for a game to eventually get ported from Japan to America. We've seen games become remastered for a completely new generation of console hardware in less time. But Sega's Phantasy Star Online 2 is officially out in North America on Xbox One as a free-to-play MMORPG. While its distinctive new anime-style flair and pulse-pounding gameplay are far from everything you would expect in a typical online game, PSO2's amazing battle buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta system, rewarding progression, and passionate neighborhood prove it was mostly worth the wait.
