Ammo Skills
Enhanced Ammunition
In addition to Crossbow skills, Path of Exile 2 introduces Ammo Skills, which modify the effects of your shots. Different Ammo types provide various buffs and effects:
Armour Piercing Ammo: Penetrates through enemies, making it effective against groups.
Incendiary Ammo: Ignites targets and can interact with explosions for additional damage.
Permafrost Ammo: Chills and freezes enemies, slowing their movement and attacks.
By combining different Ammo Skills with Crossbow Skills, players can adapt to various combat scenarios. For instance, using Incendiary Burst Shot can clear large groups of enemies, while Permafrost Power Shot can slow and control powerful foes.
Attachments
New Skill Gems
Attachments are a new feature exclusive to Path of exile currency Crossbow-wielding characters. These are akin to Quivers for Bow users, providing an additional Skill slot when equipped. Attachments do not offer extra stats but grant access to additional skills and abilities.
Skill Integration
Attachments can be supported by Support Gems, enhancing their functionality. This system allows Mercenary players to buy Path of exile currency customize their skill setup further, creating a versatile and potent combat arsenal.
