There are chances that the firewall or antivirus installed on your device is stopping Thunderbird from receiving the emails. In case you are still unable to receive an email, you have to whitelist the Thunderbird. You can use the below steps if you are using the Windows Security:
- Go to the ‘settings‘.
- Select ‘update security‘.
- Click on the ‘windows security‘.
- Select ‘virus and threat protection‘.
- Click on the ‘manage settings‘ option.
- Choose ‘add or remove exclusions‘, tap on the ‘ add an exclusion’ option.
- Choose the Thunderbird option.
