"Rii Jii" stands for a new rice culture: gourmet taste, Naturland certified, transparent origin, direct dialogue with the cooperatives and a stylish eye-catcher!
I founded Rii Jii to bring the German love of rice closer to the authentic flavour of rice. Which is why we also call our rice "organic gourmet rice". Rice is not a filling side dish, but a delicious, versatile and healthy food that is still used far too little in German kitchens - and we want to change that!
We know that Taraori-Basmati is the best rice and we ensure varietal purity.
We work directly with the cooperatives that produce our rice and name them on each package. On our website, we report on these cooperatives and show what we can do to help farmers improve their living conditions in the long term.

In short: We are on a real rice mission ;-) Starting in December 2018, TV star chef Roland Trettl (Sat1: The Taste, Vox: First Dates) is supporting us with this in a great social media campaign. We can also involve our retail partners who sell Rii Jii in this campaign.
